Cantacuzino (1832-1913), called Nababul, according to the plans of the architect I. D. Berindey between 1901-1903 and was inaugurated in 1906. Between 1933-1947 in the Palace was located the Council of Ministers. In 1947 the Institute of Romanian-Soviet Studies was installed here. Between 1956-1977, the George Enescu Museum of Music and the Union of Composers functioned here.
